YDN Middle School Schmuez
Gifts and Responsibilities
Dear Readers:
This week's Yeshiva Darchei Noam Friday Schmuez to our middle school talmidim dealt with 2 topics:
1) The responsibilities that come along with gifts we are given (popular children must be sensitive to those who are not that socially graceful, kids who are good in sports need to be inclusive of their peers who would like to be "chosen in" to games).
2) A beautiful Torah Thought from Reb Moshe Feinstein zt”l on how Hilchos Aveilus (laws governing the conduct of mourners) allows us the liberty of being hurt and perhaps even angry at Hashem for tragedies that strike us -- all the while understanding that we ought to strive to accept everything He does b'ahava (with acceptance and love).
