The best way to reach Rabbi Horowitz:
Rabbi Horowitz has designated an hour each evening to taking parenting and advice calls – from 10:00-11:00 p.m. EST Sunday-Thursday (and for those in Eretz Yisroel and Europe, from 6:45-7:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays) on a dedicated cell phone – (845) 825-6600. He is the only one answering that phone and everything you discuss with him will, of course, be treated in the strictest confidence. This phone does not accept voice mail messages and there is no call waiting. If you get the recorded message immediately, that will indicate that the phone is turned off for the night. If it rings, that means that he is still taking calls.
In order to best utilize your time, Rabbi Horowitz has respectfully asked that you read his essay on asking for advice, titled, Answers about Questions. He strongly feels that the content of that column will help you understand his method of listening to and responding to your question, in a manner that will be most helpful to you. If you call before you have read the article, he will respectfully ask you to read it and then call back, so kindly take the time to review it prior to calling.
