School Description:
They strive to provide an education based on academic rigor with an emphasis on inquiry, active nurturing to discover each child’s full potential, the ideal of performing acts of kindness and working on root issues of injustice, and a focus on Jewish life skills.
They are accredited by the National Association of Education for Young Children.
Comments:
This is a community day school with grades K-5. Most of their students are from conservative families, though they do have some children from reform and orthodox homes. It is run by orthodox rabbis and while they do not teach anything that contradicts orthodoxy, their goal is to be where the community is and they teach according to that.
They do not have a uniform, but students are expected to dress modestly and abide by some dress code rules, such as no 'short shorts' or immodest tank tops.
They are handicap accessible with a ramp.
