School Description:
Emek Hebrew Academy has an ESL program for the recent immigrants who come to the school. The School has a mixture of diverse cultures, ranging from Persians, Russians, Israeli, and French. They all work together and create a harmonious atmosphere. The families of our students are diverse as well. Some parents do not cover their hair, while others do. The MECHINA program is offered in this school to help those weak in hebrew reading. The Resource room is available for those that are having a hard time with the secular subjects.
They have just moved into a new modern building. Many of the rooms are now equiped with a large screen for the teachers use. In many events, the teacher will use it to teach the class about current events or about the subject, which will enhance the students learning.
This is a frum, well-established school which has been around for over 40 years. The Staff is educated to the finest. After the students finish Elementary School, they usually move on to a frum high school.
