Extra Curricular: There are a broad range of after-school club programs that appeal to the interests of the students and their parents. In addition to a homework club, past clubs have included martial arts, chess, CD making, mad science, carpentry, tennis, drama, cooking, choir, music exploration, clay design and much more.
Culminating their years at Oaklnad Hebrew Day School, the eighth grade travels to Israel for ten days, where they visit historical sites and have opportunities to act in a spirit of courage and selflessness for social justice and betterment of Israel.

This is a modern orthodox school that strives to educate their students to be knowledgeable and proud of who they are and where they came from and to deepen their love and commitment to a righ heritage of learning. Their students are continuously developing their relationship with G-d and opening themselves to the mystery and wonder of the world. Their students connect to the State of Israel educationally, spiritually and emotionally. Their young men and women, together, are participants in rigorous and academic Torah and general study, prayer groups and leadership opportunities.
