School Description:
High school age bochurim (13-16)
For a bochur who needs the bar set for his personal level of growth, ability, and learning style.
Groups of up to four bochurim per rebbe, insuring individual attention.
Promotion of self-teaching and self-discovery in learning of Gemara, Chumash, and Halacha.
An environment where all questions are encouraged. The bochurim are taught to question and to think.
Visual and practical learning styles incorporated.
Davening skills are taught through davening b’kol rom. Krias HaTorah skills are also taught.
Heavy emphasis is placed on the development of middos tovos, as well as becoming respectful and responsible for oneself and for others.
Instilling a geshmack in Yiddishkeit and the development of learning skills.
Unique General Studies program, which the curriculum is also on computer, allowing each student to advance at own pace. Accredited teachers, special education coordinator, school psychologist, reading specialists.
Unique life-skills program teaches variety of other hands-on skills.
Shabbaton trips to visit many Roshei Yeshiva and Rebbes, e.g. Lakewood, New York, Baltimore, etc.
